More magnificent and more luxurious. These five new cruises are ready to compete to offer the best experience for their passengers.
Symphony of the Seas
The world’s largest cruise ship was launched in March. Weighing almost the same as 42,200 Asian elephants, 362 meters long, and up to 18 floors high, Symphony of the Sea is present as a large floating city. This Royal Caribbean sea giant is ready to accommodate up to 6,000 guests, which are spread over seven districts. In addition to qualified amenities, ranging from restaurants with delicious menus, fitness centers, to the Royal Theater that plays 3D movies, this ship also provides a variety of games ranging from Escape the Rubicon and Battle for Planet Z.
If traveling with family, this luxurious two-floor Ultimate Family Suite with an area of ?? 125 square meters equipped with a cinema room and balcony can be an option. Departing from Barcelona or Miami, the sea trip will take around three to 12 days, to various locations, from the Mediterranean, European, Caribbean, and American regions.
The Carnival Horizon became popular in early April 2018. Besides having almost the same facilities as the IMAX theater, Waterworks theme park, SkyRide bike path, and Seuss at Sea, the 133,500-ton luxury ship also added Dr. Seuss and three new shows. The Horizon, which can carry up to 3,963 guests, also offers two special cabins, namely Family Harbor and Havana Cabanas with a private lounge and pool. Sailing from Barcelona, Miami, and New York, passengers can choose an itinerary for four to 14 days, heading to Europe, the Caribbean, and America.
Car racing on the sea is no longer impossible after successfully applied to the Norwegian Joy cruise ship. However, in May 2018 there will be a more sophisticated appearance with the go-kart route over the world’s largest sea. Also, Norwegian Bliss offers other unique facilities, namely laser tag games, a luxurious barbecue area, and a slide that leads directly to the open sea.
Accommodating up to 4,000 passengers, the 167,800-ton cruise ship that will sail from seven to 21 days to Alaska and the Caribbean region offers up to 2,038 cabins, most of which face the ocean.
For a relatively small ship that can only accommodate 930 guests, the Viking Orion offers things that other giants often miss. Apart from having the opportunity to visit destinations that are difficult to reach by big ships, guests also get the opportunity to visit each port longer, to stay at the destination, and get extra tours.
Regular cabins range from 25–70 square meters. The special room is the Owner’s Suite measuring 122 square meters, which features a dining room, party room, and a private sauna with direct views of the sea. This little guy is ready to serve in July 2018. However, different from other cruise ships, the Viking Orion travel time is somewhat longer, namely six days to two months, to go along Alaska, Canada, countries on the continent of Europe, Asia, Australia to Zealand New.
Combining an elegant classic feel with the latest facilities, Nieuw Statendam transforms into a premium-class cruise ship weighing 99,500 tons. The legendary ship architect created a dramatic interior. The climax is in the form of a three-story high central atrium with the ceiling as a digital projection area that changes every few hours.
Rooms vary from 15-126 square meters, making them suitable for solo travelers as well as families. The activities are varied, such as classes for mixing drinks, enjoying music performances, and relaxing at the Greenhouse Spa. This luxury ship was launched in December 2018. Passengers can choose travel packages ranging from three to 24 days through Europe, the Caribbean region, and the Mediterranean.
